New York, New York!

1st day in continent of Northern America. The flight went fine, and so did the taxi trip to the hotel. I was scared though - our driver Mohammed drove really fast, did quick speedings and quick brakings and switched lanes in fast pace.
For me the New York city seems like a huge ant nest. Lots of people and lots of high buildings. Somebody has said, that you can recognize tourists in New York just looking for persons staring up. The native new yorkers seem to bee quite nice but yet a bit tough and cold. We even saw a pink Hummer limo :)

The jet lag is staring to feel. When I'm writing this, the time in Finland is 4.40 am, and in New York 9.40 pm. Today had 31 hours for us.

Check out today's essential song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v7QfCxuvLo

This song includes Frank Sinatra, but it's not THAT song you all think. This video has also something to do our tomorrow's plans... Try to guess, where we'll go :) Best guess wins a coffee from physics department's coffee machine on second floor :D

  1. A competition? With coffee as a prize? How could I resist this challenge...

My guess: You two are going to dress as Donald Duck and go sing to a dock worker. Or maybe you three, with Mohammed the taxi driver?

Hey, you said the best guess wins, not the most correct one, right?

P.S. Don't let this be another competition where I'm the only participant and still lose...

  2. Don't worry, I won't :D If the coffee machine will break down, I'll offer the coffee for winner in Ylistö cafeteria :)

By the way Mika, thanks for commenting :)
